If you have ever wanted to learn deadly street fighting techniques that could save your life in a situation where you were forced to protect yourself in hand to hand combat, krav maga is the ideal system.
Literally translated as "hand combat" or "close combat", krav maga is a style of fighting more than a martial art. Developed in Jewish ghettos by Imi Lichtenfeld, krav maga serves a practical rather than stylistic purpose. Its meaning is to stop fights as soon as possible rather than create violence.
The main principals of krav maga are fast and lethal strikes that can take down an opponent in seconds, to remove all weapons from your attacker and use them for your own defense, and to not get hurt.
