How do you clean a George Forman: Part 2?
Recently a correspondent asked how do you clean a greasy George Forman.
Make sure the room is warm, without drafts, about (75 degrees F). Add warm water to a bath (warm to the inside of your wrist or between 90 and 100 degrees F.). Place George on a bath cushion or thick towels on a surface that is waist high. NEVER take your hands off George, even for a moment. If you have forgotten something, wrap up George in a towel and take him/her with you.
Start with George“s face - use one moistened, clean cotton ball to wipe each eye, starting at the bridge of the nose then wiping out to the corner of the eye. Pay special attention to fractures and cuts. Then instruct George to clean his own armpits and groin and to report when he is done. SUPERVISE CLOSELY. George may have trouble because of his slurred speech, slow reactions and even occasional blackouts.
Contrary to popular thought, most retired boxers do not need a bath every single day.
Cleaning the grill
The grill is most definitely a messy tool. When the grill is sizzling the fat and marinade drain down to a drip tray. Once done you can use the plastic like fork provided to scrape off the grease. Once the grill is cool, wipe with an absorbent paper towel. The instructions are quite adamant that you should not immerse the grill in water.
let it cool and scrape off goop with the plastic tool and then with a sponge or paper towel.
Once the food was taken off and the "big pieces" scraped into the tray, I thought I might speed the process of cleaning later if I rinsed it a bit while it was hot. So I took a juice glass full of water and poured it over the grill while it was still sizzling. It was amazing. Almost everything rinsed off. This spatters a bit, so close the lid after pouring the water. Then, again while hot, I took a wet paper towel and quickly wiped the grill, both top and bottom. And it was completely clean -- after about 45 seconds. When cooled, this takes 10 minutes for a "messy" meal. Since I made this discovery, my GF Grill has never been cool for more than a day

Decorative Towels Make A Great Gift Idea
Looking for a Unique and Lovely Gift? Consider a Decorative Towel.
How often have we said "I cannot think what to get for a gift!!" It is increasingly difficult to come up with ideas on a present for a teacher, friend, aunty, nanna, mom, sister, etc. Times are tough and money can be tight. We look for things that are not expensive but look good and are useful as well. So why not consider a Decorative Towel! Decorative Towels are both useful and useable. A kitchen towel or bathroom towel always gets used. Consider that they are also low cost. If you are looking for something very special, take a look at Flikr to see some fine examples of decorative towels.
A Decorative towel can add impact to a room. Consider a pretty tea towel hanging on the oven door. Or a delightful guest hand towel in the bathroom. A Decorative towel just gives the room that finishing touch.
Australian creator of Decorative Towels, Cath, sums it up this way;" Don't under-estimate the impact of the humble tea towel or hand towel" "The wrong color towel in a room will upset the theme or image you are trying to create" Cath decorates towels with quality quilters fabrics, laces and trims. "The blank towel is my canvas," she says.
So if you are looking for something special for a loved one, a teacher, a neighbor, etc, consider a Decorative Towel as your choice. Add some chocolates, a book, etc to make a extra special gift.
