One of the best selling toys of Christmas 2005, the Skybase Deluxe (also known as the Skybase DX) is promoted by those responsible in the run-Bandai Christmas 2006, but does it deserve to be on the bestseller list again this year?
The Skybase looks impressive in about half a meter long and is a very detailed copy of Captain Scarlet Skybase new television program that updates the classic 60 years after computer-generated "actors" instead of puppets.
There is much for children to play. The base has a number of lighting effects and features sound effects and the language of television series. According to an airstrip is a vehicle docking bay and the other a repair area with a mobile crane arm. At the top is a turntable used to launch vehicles.
In the series of Skybase is the headquarters of the defense of the Earth's spectrum and the home squad Angel interceptor fighter. Included is an angel of 8 cm long and a small interceptor fighter Colonel White figure.
The Skybase offers enough features for children to participate and have fun with the game and encourages imagination and role play. To get the most of what you really need to buy a few vehicles more and action figures, because the one included is not enough. Bandai offers 2 sets of vehicles in the base, each including three new vehicles and a figure 8 cm Small action. There seems to be only a small number of accessories available to go with the base of it that has been available for a year. According our calculations, that children might have a better fun with Captain Scarlet sturdier figures that there is a much better range.
Pros:
- Good value.
- Nice quality.
- Get children involved in imaginative play.
Cons:
- It really needs new vehicles and the numbers of children make the most of it.
- Wider range of figures and vehicles offer probably of interest to children.
- Limited range of additional data and the available vehicles in the smaller (8 cm) in size.
